New Year, New Us
2021 brought big changes to OD&V. We are proud of the connections and partnerships we have established and grown during what has been a difficult period in the events industry worldwide last year.
A busy 2021 saw OD&V launch a ‘digital conference’ service partnership with our friends at MeetCambridge and Suzy Howes and associates ltd, further develop our partnership work with Azura Events Ltd, establish strong connections with local virtual conference platform providers, work with some fantastic freelancers and last, but definitely not least, grow our offering and diversify our client base with more association clients.
The varied client base means that we now provide membership management services to associations as well as manage physical, hybrid and virtual events for the same sector. ‘Adapting’ is our middle name and in the spirit of meeting the needs of our clients in the most efficient manner, we took the leap – the leap into a large, fully-fledged event management system that comes with all the bells and whistles that used to be ‘too much’ for us. Not anymore.
In our quest of always striving for excellence, this was the next logical step and we are excited to have embarked on the EventsAir journey just as the year was coming to an end.
Now that 2022 is here, we feel positive (the good kind of positive!) that our growing business will benefit greatly from all the elements that EventsAir brings together, from scheduling, delegate communications, marketing, speaker and abstract management, to registrations and payments, reporting and analytics, sponsorship and exhibition management.
The one-stop-shop won’t just benefit our new and future clients, but also help us improve and innovate the delivery of events to our established clients – by now, our OD&V friends!
Don’t get us wrong, we’re still fans of spreadsheets and good old-fashioned phone calls, but we know that EA will help us and our extended, growing team, to work efficiently, save us time and reinvent internal and external processes.
