Meet the Team

Rose Padmore

With a background in sales, marketing and PR, a lifelong involvement in amateur theatre production and a passion for communication, Rose, who founded OD&V in 2000, prides herself on an accurate planning process and the detailed follow-through of all projects large or small. She has an energy and enthusiasm of above average capacity and the recognised ability to motivate others... Just ask her friends and colleagues!

Madalina Marincas

While studying Event Management in Birmingham, Madalina had the opportunity to work with Rose for OD&V often, which ‘opened the door’ to the conference industry. Now a proud full-time member of the team she grasps how much of her professional development is owed to OD&V. Living for the world of events, Madalina holds a Master with Distinction in Marketing for Events, was a passionate 2012 Olympics Games Maker, enjoys sport and the outdoors, and has a keen interest in organising... everything (mainly others!)

Gordon Padmore

As a company director for 38 years with experience in manufacturing, service and sales in the sports and leisure sector, Gordon’s recent drive and motivation comes from a desire to share these experiences. He has an ability to stand back and view a complete picture with a rational calmness, resulting in a positive effect on those working with him. Gordon has been an ardent supporter of OD&V from its inception in 2000 by providing financial services. He is known for his love of sport, sense of humour and faultless integrity which, together with his visionary approach to challenges and opportunities, create the foundation for his achievements. In his spare time, he is an enthusiastic dinghy sailor, although not such a keen swimmer!

Kate Hadley

Kate has 10 years experience of working in the television industry, mostly as a Production Co-Ordinator/Manager. A role that means being across an entire production from start to finish. From preplanning and scheduling, to filming then editing / post-production and completion. With scheduling being a vital part of the event planning process, particularly in the virtual-hybrid world, Kate's developing role at OD&V is keeping an eye on all factors, ensuring deadlines are met for a smooth event production process.

Our Support Team

Sarah Brooks

Sarah has been part of Team OD&V since 2015, initially as a problem solver and exhibitor liaison, then in 2018 as a permanent member, adding marketing and project administration support to the growing team. In 2020, Sarah's focus moved to managing the business centre we were based from and now she is back supporting us on a more ad-hoc basis. Sarah has a background in customer services, marketing, and operations management within a broad range of industries including banking, hospitality, events, property management and manufacturing. This knowledge and experience brings value to the team as her strengths include thinking on her feet; finding a quick solution to a problem; running an efficient and organised registration desk; remaining calm under pressure; and ensuring the team and the event attendees have the best event experience possible.

Lucy Biltcliffe

Lucy joined OD&V in 2021 with professional experience, fresh perspectives and a background in marketing, supporting organisations within the hospitality, events, associations and service industry. Throughout her career spanning 25 years, Lucy has enjoyed building on her signature strengths; tuning in quickly to understand customer’s needs, being an ‘arranger’ and aligning people and resources as well as utilising her customer focussed, strong interpersonal and communication skills. Lucy thrives in a creative team that organises events and designs services for clients and brings natural enthusiasm to the team and projects that she is working on.

Celia Lloyd

Team OD&V Celia Lloyd

Celia has been managing conferences for over 20 years including 6 years working for a scientific association in the UK, Europe and North America. Celia spent a 3-year term on the Executive Board of ABPCO and has spoken at many industry events including EventIt and the Business Tourism Scotland conference. Celia specialises in abstract management and programme compilation working on the entire process from call for papers to publication of the final programme and on-line platform using EventsAir, one of the industry’s best event management platforms. In her spare time, she volunteers for a zero waste enterprise, working to promote sustainability in her local area; practices yoga and pilates; and loves spending time in her garden where she (tries!) to grow her own vegetables.

Therese Dolan

Therese Dolan ODV team event conference project manager

Fellow ABPCO member and long-standing industry colleague, Therese is an Association Specialist with almost 20 years' experience in the sector as a Professional Conference Organiser. She has worked across both agency and in-house teams to provide leadership and strategic direction alongside operational excellence and efficiency for both national and international associations.
In July 2022, Therese decided to go freelance and provide independent support to associations primarily to help with the development and evaluation of long-term strategic goals to support their vision and mission.
Luckily for OD&V, she shares a passion for building client relationships based on trust, which, coupled with a keenness to top up her 'hands-on PCO hours', meant she accepted our invitation to join the team and assist us with selected client events.

Rob Eveleigh

Rob Eveleigh is the Managing Director of Brightelm whom we have chosen to collaborate with to deliver hybrid and virtual conferences. He oversees the account management and project leadership responsibilities of the company. His successful career in hospitality spans the past 20 years, the last 10 of which have been dedicated to working with membership organisations. Rob is an expert on association events and helps us and our clients in creating a successful event using our online platform and ensuring that the virtual attendees have the same experience as though attending physically. Fun Fact: Rob can play the ‘Cello and can tap dance, just not at the same time.

Jon Richards

Team OD&V Celia Lloyd

Jon who also works for Brightelm is a master of projects and his role is to look after the delivery of projects and events. Jon has spent most of his career organising events, with five of these years as an events manager for an association, and now joins our team collaboratively supporting us to deliver our hybrid and virtual conferences via online platforms. Fun Fact: Jon played guitar in a covers band at University, and can still just about remember how to play "Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus”

Eve Stupart

Our go-to local Cambridge event support team member, Eve has been working in a number of Cambridge university venues for many years and we are so lucky now to have her join us as hands-on event staff to help us to deliver these local events. Welcome aboard Eve!!

Steve Pitt

With his over 20 years’ experience and passion for creating credible, visual brands, Steve works closely with OD&V to design, develop and enhance event branding, assisting on a wide range of elements from website brand to event signage. Steve’s passion for graphic design has only one equal: his passion for riding motorcycles!
