Talent Match Black Country - 3 Years On Celebrations & Awards 2017

Opening Doors & Venues was once again appointed to deliver Talent Match Black Country’s Celebration event, the fourth in a series of five since the project launched in 2014. Always an important occasion in the calendar for all those involved in the project delivery, the evening is the perfect opportunity to recognise the people at the heart of the project - mentors, partners and employers alike - but not forgetting the fundamental reasons why Talent Match is here: for Young People.

With a record attendance of nearly 200, the evening was a fantastic success, focusing on the impressive achievements of Young People who took to the stage to showcase their musical, poetry and acting skills before the much-anticipated ‘Awards Ceremony’, all under the skilful guidance of our host and Talent Match friend, Sameena Ali-Khan of ITV Central.

OD&V managed all aspects of pre-event planning and content design, on-the-day set-up and production and post-event feedback and reporting, working with various partners throughout to ensure the smooth-running and success of the evening. We are also very pleased to be delivering next year’s Celebration & Awards evening to be held on 11 October 2018 at the same venue.
