#TMBC17 #NoOneLeftBehind Talent Match Black Country Annual Conference Tackling Youth Unemployment
WHEN: 3 March 2017
WHERE: The Hawthorns, West Bromwich Albion Football Club
CLIENT: Talent Match Black Country
ODV had the opportunity to support Talent Match Black Country yet again with the management, operations, content development and production of ‘No One Left Behind’, the first Black Country strategic partner conference around tackling youth unemployment. Attended by over 100, the day conference took place at the Hawthorns, West Bromwich, and addressed the challenge of sustaining employment for young people.
Befitting a conference tackling such a thorny issue as how to tackle youth unemployment during a time of economic uncertainty, a number of high profile guests contributed to the day’s dialogue, including Ian Austin MP, Mark Easton (BBC Home Editor) and Laura-Jane Rawlings (Youth Employment UK) as well as Matt Poole, Head of Funding at Big Lottery Fund.
Live research on values and believes was gathered throughout the morning and disseminated live on stage by Jackie Le Fevre of Magma Effect while the proceedings were graphically recorded on a 3m wide ‘Think Big Picture’ by Laura Brodrick. Attendees also had the opportunity to send in their questions for all speakers at any point during the day via online app Sli.do.
